A young boy steals money from his cash strapped mother to buy a little red truck. When he tries to get his money back, he is faced with a rigid manager who sticks to the store policy of “no returns”.
LITTLE RED TRUCK
LITTLE RED TRUCK is a hopeful and quiet drama that explores family and compassion. This project reflects my interest in examining a child’s path to discerning right from wrong and childhood moral development. I wanted to touch upon the adult roles children often take on at an early age and how a child’s resiliency carries him through difficult situations. Woven into the story are ideas of interconnectedness and the importance of small gestures. The film was shot in a small town to reflect the sense of community and familiarity.
